Malta Poker Open Satellite Winner

Portomaso saw a great deal of action last night as it hosted a new scheduled satellite tournament. A group of ten players took to the table at 8.00Pm posting the €37+3 buy-in to compete in the freezeout event.

The event lasted around 3 hours before the winner emerged, Andrew Camilleri, who snatched the first prize with his Qs2s hitting a pair on the flop against Ayu Fievet’s hand.

Andrew won a seat for the €330 main event of the Malta Poker Open, being held at the Portomaso Casino between the 24th and 26th April, while Ayu secured a seat for next week’s satellite giving her a second chance to claiming a seat in April’s tournament.

Next week’s satellite will be taking place at the Portomaso Casino on Thursday evening. The event is set to start at 8.00Pm. Early registration is recommended.
